remember doing this and collecting anything that would burn for the bonfire., i remember one year a bunch of us kids went to Woolys and bought some of those little penny hacksaws and raided that little grove of saplings at the top of jobes hill
we got a good haul that year but Dr. Lishman who owned them wasn't too happy about it
